The Louth County Community Forum is the voice of the community, the roles of the forum include representation, consultation, capacity building and training. The vision of the Louth County Community Forum is to “support and develop a vibrant community and voluntary sector, actively promoting social inclusion and to represent the sector in decision-making structures in the County.” Would you like to have a say in the development of your County? If your group is not represented in Louth County Community and Voluntary Forum then you may not be having your say? ObjectivesTo be a representative voice for the community sector in Louth To share information, experience and tackle common issues together To be a vehicle for local consultation Contribute to the policy development of the Louth County Development Board Help to identify and agree county-wide issues and proposals and develop integrated responses to the particular needs of the community and voluntary sector in the county Develop proposals for the enhanced participation of the community and voluntary sector in various development initiatives.

ConsultationWe hope that you will find this website to be a good resource for your Louth-based Community Group or Voluntary Organisation. We aim to be as useful and as user-friendly as possible, so if you have any suggestions for improvement or questions please let us know here. The Louth Community and Voluntary Forum is an independent entity but continues to be supported by funding from the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, disbursed through the CDB Secretariat of Louth County Council. All community groups are encouraged to inform the CDB Secretariat of their existence and/or change in contact details for their group.
